Sound + Touch for quiet nervous system regulation
Layered crystal and Tibetan bowls, chimes, gongs, drums and flute guide your body toward calm, breath, and steady presence. Light, trauma-informed touch is used only if helpful. No pressure to perform. Just space to soften and be easeful. Studio located in Oceanside, CA
Tibetan singing bowls send steady waves through the body, sometimes called frequency medicine. When the sound moves easily we note flow, and when it dulls or feels stuck it can point to places that need extra attention.
At Somatelligence, sound comes first. I build live soundscapes with crystal and Tibetan bowls, chimes, and gongs to create steady rhythms that help your body move from bracing to breathing. Sessions stay low to moderate in volume and move without rushing; longer notes support down-regulation, gentle swells invite breath, and there is plenty of space to rest so your body sets the tempo. When helpful, I add brainwave support by using monaural patterns in the room and optional headphones for binaural beats to guide you from busy beta toward calmer alpha and theta states. Light craniosacral-informed touch may be offered only if it helps you orient, but it is not the focus. Virtual sessions are available, and optional supports like red light can be added. You leave with one or two tiny practices to carry the benefit into daily life.
This work is for you if:
✔️ You feel over-amped or stuck and loud methods do not fit
✔️ You want a gentle, private experience without pressure or storytelling
✔️ You prefer sound-led sessions where your body leads the pace
✔️You are open to light touch as an optional support, not the focus
If you’re unsure where to start, we begin with a Foundational Session. In this session, I gently assess your system’s needs and may integrate other supportive modalities like somatic coaching, Reiki, or sound therapy based on how your body responds.

Sound pairs easily with many modalities because it builds trust first. Your system naturally takes in tones it resonates with and lets the rest fall away, so nothing is forced. That gentle yes or no lets your body lead.
Before touch, sound helps downshift from busy beta into calmer alpha, delta and theta states, so you become more settled. During light, craniosacral-informed contact or Reiki, soft bowls provide a steady rhythm that keeps the body oriented and safe while tissues and breath loosen at their own pace. After movement, breathwork, or somatic guidance, a short sound layer supports integration, helping the nervous system land, digest, and keep what was useful. Because sound is noninvasive and paced to you, it can wrap around many approaches without competing with them, inviting change that feels natural and sustainable.

We recommend you bring your own yoga mat, pillows and blankets. Optionally you might want to consider eye pillows and bolsters. We do have some, but in case we run out, you’ll want to consider these things.
